On February 4, 2008, COFIBOL received the business licence Nr 32/08 issued by the Minister for the Treasury and the Budget, and replacing the previous one (Nr 15/05) received on March 24, 2005.
The Company is authorised to perform all activities listed below:

- Brokers in Financial instruments
- Commission agents
- Family Offices
- Private portfolio managers
- Professionals acting for their own account
- Distributors of units/shares in UCIs
- Registrar agents
- Client communication agent
- Administration agents of the financial sector
